Elite Medical: Health & Urgent Care Clinic is a private healthcare facility specialising in the assessment and treatment of:

We aim to provide affordable, efficient healthcare and reduce pressure on local Emergency Departments and GP Surgeries. Medications such as antibiotics and painkillers may be dispensed on-site when appropriate.
What are your opening hours?
Our current clinic hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 08:00 – 18:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
- Sunday: 08:00 – 13:00
Appointments and home visits outside these hours can be arranged by contacting us directly.
What is Elite Life Care?
Elite Life Care provides 24/7 emergency and welfare response to alarm activations—wherever the wearer is: at home, in care, or out and about.

- Two-way call system on alarm watch
- On-site assessment if needed
- Ambulance dispatch if required
Our Careline services work with any personal alarm system, regardless of supplier.
Are we safe?
Yes. Our service is operated by highly experienced clinicians and has:

- Full insurance including public liability and medical malpractice

Will I be issued a prescription?
If appropriate, a prescriber can:
- Issue a private electronic prescription (sent to your chosen pharmacy or printed)
Dispense some medications on-site under Patient Group Direction (PGD)
What is a private prescription and how does it differ from an NHS one?
A private prescription is:
- Issued after consultation with Elite Medical
Not funded by the NHS—you pay the pharmacy for the medication
Can I collect a private prescription from any pharmacy?
Yes, any pharmacy in the UK can dispense a private prescription.
Is a private prescribing service safe and legal?
Absolutely. All prescribing clinicians:
- Are registered, trained, and qualified for independent prescribing
- Use a patient system linked to NICE and BNF guidance
- Are supported by robust safety and training standards
Do I have to pay for the medication as well as the consultation?
Yes:
- Medications must be paid for at the pharmacy
- Medications issued under PGD are paid for at the time of issue
- These costs are not included in the consultation fee
Are you able to make referrals?
Currently, no NHS specialist referrals are possible. However:
- We can write to your GP with findings and recommendations
- Urgent cases may prompt direct contact with your GP
Can you write sick notes?
No. Only GPs can issue Med 3 (sick notes).
Elite Medical can provide a summary letter for your GP’s discretion.
Do you treat children?
Yes, but only children aged 2 years and older.
Do you keep records?
Yes:
- All consultations are recorded securely in our patient management software
- Records are confidential and accessible upon request
- Some records can be viewed via the patient portal
Do you share information I provide with my GP?
Only with your explicit consent.
If agreed, we’ll send a summary to your GP to add to your records.

What can we not help with?
We do not assess/treat the following:
- Children under 2
- Acute mental health issues
- Prescription of controlled drugs
- Intimate examinations or procedures
- End of life or palliative care
- Any patient falling under our Exclusion Criteria above
